There are two places I'm aware of it being used for images. One is to generate alternate textures for items in addition to the many provided. In the same windows you can upload any image file you want instead. The second usage predicts a 3d model from a 2d image, allowing you to add objects in game.

I was initially leery about the AI, but you can find a very definitive statement they released asserting that it is their own proprietary engine strictly trained on their own assets without any copyrighted material.

I spent hours designing and decorating an awesome swanky starter house, and the enjoying how my zoi interacted with it. They have a vegetable garden out front and sell the produce on a table by the sidewalk. They are training to be a Kpop star, lol. Life Sims are the story you put into them.

I'm a 57 year old dude and I had a blast playing the game until 4am. First off, you admit you're not into building and decorating, which is probably a good majority of its content in its early access state. The tools for it blow Sims out of the water.
