Thoughts on lasting peace: a peace deal needs to include a commitment, on the post of all parties, to give up the goal of the destruction of the other.

I'm frustrated that this article doesn't seem to answer the question on its title other than to say, "move away from equity language back toward equal treatment language."

And don't get me wrong with this question, I fully agree Israel has the right and responsibility to defend itself and its citizens, but have we all forgotten to demand that Israel work towards ending the occupation of and towards the self-governance of Gaza and The West Bank?
