I was looking at it and wondering why it looked not quite right/photoshopped, so I went to see if it was real. Turns out it is, but doesn't quite look as charismatic and classically "Jaws-like" as that, which makes sense since it's in the kitefin shark family. Neat!

You can be a space trucker in EVE, but it's pretty boring. Probably much like being a real trucker. I did it for a while and then had a revelatory, "why the fuck am I doing this?", and became a pirate instead.

I didn't know Jack Kirby was involved at the time (I was 11-12) but I liked that it had the same vibes as the Kamandi comic books I was into from a few years prior. It feels like a continuation of many of the same ideas by Kirby.
