The National Organization for Women stands with the queer community as it is attacked under the current administration. All people should be free to live their own life as they please, and attempts to restrict people's autonomy is unacceptable.

NOW has always been committed to a vision of society without violence against women, which Monroe County NOW is proud to fight for today. Ending violence against women requires taking our efforts into our homes, communities, and streets, as the issue pervades the many parts of our lives.

The National Organization for Women has a history of promoting economic justice, which Monroe County NOW is proud to continue today. Economic justice is a multifaceted issue, including equal opportunities and outcomes for women, while at the same time demanding better quality of life for all.
