He only needs the arc once or twice and then after that I want something new. Lemme see Gill struggle to understand Ocean culture and how he can embrace it while also staying true to himself. I wanna see him get really into learning about Ocean languages to impress Lagoona

I fully understand that it's cause that's his entire way of life and the peer pressure of it all and such, but he's learned it like nine times now. IRL I get it cause he's a person and it takes years to deconstruct that shit, but he's an animated character

I don't mind as much when Draculaura and Clawd have to learn it over and over, but man every time I see Gill just destroy Lagoona by not just telling of his parents it kills me a little more inside

I also hope that diving into the diaries actually leads me kinda down the path of where he went and if Robecca ever found him because as of now movie and webisode canon we haven't seen him again. Would love to have that in the timeline at some point so my girl can have some happy ending

It makes it feel like the world is more lived in and has more going on, but also I love the idea that he went to New Goreleans to build his daughter there and also to protect his adopted girlie at the same time. Just a Dad™ through and through

I'm gonna take it more as Elissabat had been between Londoom and New Goreleans and stayed for about 200 years before the count started to weed her out and in her struggle to leave she met Hexiciah around the same time he would have been building MH and starting production on his daughter in NG

I'm doing my best to ignore continuity errors and just take them as is, like Elissabat being missing for 400 years but Robecca only being created 200 years prior to the derby movie. Obviously Robecca's story was just retconned a bit

I think I'm gonna go with what I've been doing and just clean up the movie timelines and things I've noticed culturally and then go through and add the dates from each of the diaries to kinda bolster the timelines validity

I had a whole system before where I was like making all of these spreadsheets and boxed out documents to keep it all simple by date

Also I know that it's just a continuity error, but that's not as fun to believe that there was either a massive shift in the continents of this world that happened close enough in history they were able to document it or cartographers were extremely fucked up when they made that original map
