Card game + board game = chaos.
Culdcept Revolt is weird, tactical, and totally underrated.
This copy isn’t the cleanest — but I’m still happy to have it in the collection. One of those hidden 3DS gems.

Still one of the best JRPGs on the 3DS.
Bravely Default brought back job systems, turn-based combat, and gorgeous hand-drawn visuals — and it did it with style.
So glad to have this in the collection.

This one brings back memories!
Transformers Animated: The Game was a fun little DS title that captured the style of the show surprisingly well.
Not the deepest gameplay, but I loved playing it back then — especially as a fan of the cartoon.

Previously shared the Japanese box — now here’s the European version of Z.O.E: The Fist of Mars.
This was actually my first turn-based strategy game back in the day. Played it on emulator at first, long before I had a GBA.
Still love the atmosphere and that tactical/mecha blend!

Zelda on the DS felt like magic back then — especially Phantom Hourglass.
Touch controls, sea travel, and that time-based dungeon mechanic… it was bold and super fun.

As a huge Golden Sun fan, I had to have Dark Dawn in my collection.
It may not reach the heights of the GBA games, but I still really enjoy returning to that world.
Feels like a warm, nostalgic epilogue.

Castlevania on DS hit different — and Portrait of Ruin is no exception.
The dual-character mechanic, the art, the vibe — all so good.
Peak Metroidvania era for handhelds.

Highlighting Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker for Nintendo DS — a spin-off that deserves more love!
I’ve always enjoyed monster collecting games, and this one blends Dragon Quest charm with fun mechanics.
Glad to have it back in the collection!

One of Square’s hidden PS1 gems: Brave Fencer Musashi.
Stylish, quirky, and full of personality — I love how bold and experimental games were back then.
The Japanese packaging is especially beautiful.

Cyberpunk meets PlayStation: Ghost in the Shell.
An atmospheric mech-based shooter with cool anime cutscenes and that iconic Shell flair.
Short, stylish, and a must for GITS fans.

Back to the Shaman King universe with Power of Spirit.
The mix of strategy and arena brawling is a bit odd — but I’ve always had a soft spot for the series, so I’m in.
Big anime energy in a PS2 package.

Had to follow up with Digital Devil Saga 2.The story gets deeper, the stakes get higher — and I love how this duology stands on its own in the SMT universe. Underrated JRPG brilliance.

Okay, real talk: I picked up Sonic Chronicles mostly because it was cheap.
Turns out — it’s actually fun!
Bioware made a Sonic RPG, and while it’s not perfect, it’s charming, quirky, and surprisingly addictive.

Is it over-the-top? Absolutely.
A bit janky? Yep.
But Gungrave has this weird charm that makes blasting through waves of enemies genuinely fun.
Stylish, edgy, and unapologetically PS2.

Dark, stylish, and intense — just how I like my JRPGs.
Digital Devil Saga might not be as well-known as Persona, but it’s pure SMT goodness.
Creepy themes, great combat, and that press-turn system never gets old.

This week: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
What can I say — I love Metroidvanias, and Castlevania is my Konami go-to.
Soma returns, the DS touch gimmicks are… well, they sure exist — but the core gameplay? Still 🔥

Scooby-Doo has always had a place in my heart — cartoons, movies… and yes, the games too!
Unmasked may not be a classic, but it captures the goofy charm and spooky fun I love.
Zoinks!

More Golden Sun — this time The Lost Age.
Just like the first, I played it back then with a friend, trading the GBA back and forth.
Bigger, deeper, and still magical.
These handheld RPGs hit different.

Mega Man with a twist — Battle Network 4 (Blue Moon)!
As a kid, I loved the idea of walking through a world where you could jack into anything and have MegaMan.EXE by your side.
The real-time grid battles, the net world, the style… it all felt so futuristic and personal.

Sometimes you just want to solve puzzles in a charming little village.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village was my gateway into puzzle-heavy games — and I’ve loved the series ever since.
Stylish, clever, and cozy. Perfect for the DS.

Back with another Shaman King Metroidvania!
Just like the first one, it’s simple but fun — and hits that nostalgic spot for the anime/manga I loved growing up.
Not a must-play for everyone, but for fans? It’s a vibe.

Shaman King: Master of Spirits — another Metroidvania gem!
This one’s based on an anime/manga I loved growing up.
It may not be the deepest in the genre, but it’s got heart, solid gameplay, and plenty of nostalgia.

This week: Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia 🦇
I’m a huge Metroidvania fan — and Castlevania is hands down my favorite Konami series.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the handheld Zeldas — there’s something special about experiencing Hyrule on the go.
Spirit Tracks brings charm, puzzles, and trains. What’s not to love?
