It's not a new book, but I did reread it again this year. To Like the Lightning by Ada Palmer, book 1 of Terra Ignota. The whole series is amazing. This is my fifth time reading the whole thing.

I always judge a book by its cover. That's kind of the point of the cover lol. Long as you are willing to revise your judgement after reading.
