Ehh banks will just refinance. Beans will just be stored at the local elevator. It's not going to really hurt until the ACA cuts go into effect. Most are self employed and get insurance on the marketplace.

What they don't consider- they had a unique microbiome that can tolerate raw milk. They probably hung around livestock on a regular basis; had cow manure on their boots; they probably lived in a farmhouse that wasn't sterile and bleached by a cleaning lady weekly.

If I had a dollar for everyone that told me that. I used to get weekly bacteria counts and monthly bulk tank cultures for the milk coop I worked for (as an on-farm milk quality tech). Shocker: you can't tell a farm's milk quality just by "knowing your farmer".

In our county, I believe you have to provide the canning instructions/recipe with your entry, and it has to match the USDA standards for that particular food.
It seems like the ones that win have perfectly chopped ingredients, packed perfectly, uniform veggies, etc.

They've been around for a long time. When my husband was in the military (09-14), we went with friends. I spent $20 in like 10 min and decided gambling wasn't for me.

Naw, cows do silly things. If you find a cow like this, the best thing to do is stand there a min so she knows you're not a threat. Might as well snap a pic real quick. Then approach slowly and help lift her head up and out. She looks healthy and relatively chill, so this isn't an acute emergency.
