I think it would be possible using a very small lathe, after some research there’s a lip you could use to clamp onto with the jaws and still leave the face accessible. It would need some small jaws that I’m not sure whether I have though

Alternatively it may be easier to make a new one out of some stainless bar stock, that way there’s more control over the material (working with stainless is a pain in the ass)

Ohhh okay, those are quite thin and looks like they have a wire spring for retention? It should be possible to get rid of the knurling easily on a lathe and I’d suggest sanding to get the letters off (holding it in the jaws and doing work on that face will be difficult)

This is so stupid. I’ve had more threatening letters from the TV licence people than from debt collectors. Plus visiting an address every 10 seconds means they visited 3 million addresses and only knocked on 5000, so I’d love to know what they classify as a “visit”.
