I'll have to look closer then thank you. What I saw was California house prices but half the pay. I make a little more than what (I read) BC nurses make here in Indiana, but my home cost me 300k. It's not BC or California, but I can live a comfortable life(for now).

I hate Trump and think he's going to ruin the country, but at the same time I'm not going to willingly live in poverty. Canada's plan sounds very much like they want to exploit foreign healthcare workers. Pretty marketing though.

Most jobs I see posted are Vancouver nursing jobs. 2nd most posted city is Surrey. Let's see if that's looking better: "The median list price of homes in Surrey, BC overall was $1,115,232 in February 2025,"

So BC...You gonna pay a nurse enough to actually afford a home there or...The problem was never credential recognition. Retaking exams and providing evidence of education/experience...Not that difficult. Affording a 1M home on a 90K salary? Solutions to problems that don't exist IMO.
