Many "followers" are neither. That's my exact point. Trump and his ilk are purveyors of corruption and cruelty. I'm not going to question the sincerity of the minister in question.

I can't agree that religious faith is irrelevant in this regard because Trump and his cronies claim to be Christians, yet support destroying people's lives daily. The Reverend is correct. The words of Jesus suggested the polar opposite.
