I haven't played it but from what I've gathered people enjoy the campaign but think the endgame is repetitive and boring.

I feel like this could have been an amazing game if they didn't shift to live service

I agree! And all games I look for in the switch (RPGs and usually indies) run great on the system if they're ported well, although I think AAA franchises could benefit from a little more power
