I want to address something important. So I’m going to cut right to the chase. Elsie Silver’s backlash over a recent ARC that went out is absolutely justified. It is NOT the responsibility of BIPOC readers to explain WHY this is fucking hurtful and WHY it’s important to hold writers accountable. If they are your fav just say that but don’t try to diminish other’s hurt/experience and take away from the discussions that need to be had. AND YES, even if it’s corrected, the fact is she still wrote it. DO BETTER.
