Maybe it was the Princess Lea ear rolls, the buttered biscuits brows, or the oh-so-squeezable challah braid down his back, but I seriously almost bought this bread dog for no reason yesterday. Please clap that I didn’t, because yes, I can be a responsible adult sometimes 😂

Cheers to the 10 fabulous litmags that published 16 pieces of my writing in 2025 🤗 I spent a lot less time writing, and a lot more time living, in 2026, and I liked it. You probably won’t see more 50-piece publication years for me. Still and all, proud and grateful 💕 🙏

Grateful to @somewordslit.bsky.social for my final publication of 2025, “Spoons”🙏 This kicka$$ new litmag’s message board format gives the most appealing early internet vibes - check them out! 😊 Direct link below 👇

I’d never seen the wonderful concrete poem “Needles” by @brianbilston.bsky.social (2nd image) when I wrote my own tree-shaped poem in 2023, or when @streetcakemag.bsky.social published it last March. I love Brian’s piece, and I love mine, too. We all dip our cups in the same stream🌲 ♥️ 🕯️ 🤗

Solo pancake breakfast at IHOP. Because a single mom who works like a lumberjack should be able to eat like one 😊 #selfcaresaturday

Many thanks to Zack Kellian for including me is his insightful and funny article on Joe Ponepinto’s “Beyond Craft” substack. To paraphrase the great Shonda Rhimes, if you see a single working mom excelling in one area, it means she’s underperforming in another. And that’s ok.

@villaineralit.bsky.social is the coolest litmag I’ve discovered in a while. I was delighted when they snapped up 4 of my poems. Sharing a snippet of the first, “Goodbye, John,” which I wrote just last month. If you’d like to read more, the link is below in the comments ⬇️🤗 😎 🔪

Utterly blown away to be nominated for a #pushcart by a poetry journal that has, in the last year, published the likes of Kim Addonizio. 😭 🙏 All my gratitude to the editors of @oneart.bsky.social 🤗

The 2025 #BSF anthology is available for pre-order, and I’m in it 😳 😃 My story “Cowboy,” originally published in @southeastreview.bsky.social, somehow landed a spot in this selection of dynamite stories by flash and micro authors from around the world. Pre-order link below 👇 🙏 🤗

Such a beautiful thing to have three poems up in @bloodhoneylit.bsky.social - one very new, one sort of new, and one that wandered for years in the wilderness until someone (the lovely @davidestringel.bsky.social ) was kind enough to adopt it 🤗 Link to the full pieces below👇

Finally got around to claiming mooninabucket.com and moving my author page into that space. I’m by no means a Wordpress whiz - I’ve just sort of FAFO’d my way through it, so the page is still a bit janky, but I’d love if you’d take a look. Link below ⬇️ 🙏

Wow, I’ve got almost a cool million left in dental benefits? Can I use that to pay off my mortgage and send a couple kids to college??🤣 #phishingfails #fridayfunnies

What a beautiful piece of mail I received this afternoon, all the way from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪 💕 📖 🍀 Grateful to the editors of The Storms Journal for treating my weird little poem so well, and for paying a ridiculous sum to post me a copy of their gorgeous publication. 🥰 🙏
