A lot of the conservative power rests on knowing theres low voter turnout for liberals in minor elections. It means even the most unpopular ghouls stay in power through sheer inertia! Fight that. Sometimes it actually works.

You are a fantastic writer and have had many successes to be proud of. You will also have many more.

PSA to those who live in the US, no matter how disillusioned you may be, vote in local elections and encourage your friends and family to do so. One of the big problems for liberals is low turnout for lower level elections, which puts in people who approve of gerrymandering tactics for the big ones.

Evidentally an English official had shown up to physically confiscate all state constitutions following a British attempt to consolidate power in New England.

"So, did they throw it out a window to keep from handing it over?"

Reader, according to popular accounts, that's exactly what they did.

The wild thing about New England history is that while half of it is folk lore and half of it actually happened you're never actually sure which is which because sometimes it's just that weird.

For example, today I learned Connecticut really DID hide its state constitution in a massive oak tree.

Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview with Netflix in March 2025 that she understood would only be released after her death.

comfortably laid IRON CROWN (my webcomic about a dictator's daughter) to rest back in 2020; but it'll always be available to read on ironcrown.kradeelav.com

even to somebody that habitually deletes art I'm still quite proud of it and this cover ~

(my expert opinion is usually "woah that's a weird thing to do to a perfectly good bagel but hey, it's not bad -- why on EARTH does Maryland use so much Old Bay on it though?"
moonsheen.bsky.social
Current Blue Sky name is something I've chosen because, as someone who was born and lived in NYC for a good portion of my life, my friends from out of state like to give me their weird regional bagels to get my Expert Consultation.

But also, it's October, so I'll do that in, like, a spooky way.

But I'm very much a "less is more" horror person. I like the slow creep and the unease more than the gore. And yes, I'm very aware they took out 90% of it in Event Horizon and I still found the back half too much of a slasher film.
moonsheen.bsky.social
Event Horizon will always be a horror movie I like more in theory than in practice. The concept and the set up is SO cool and the movie itself deevolves pretty quickly into a splatterfest.

I'm glad a new generation is enjoying the fine Final Fantasy Tactics tradition of putting your little guys in a prayer circle and throwing rocks at each other.

Oh, I absolutely understand why Hades was the hit that it was I sunk so many hours into that game but PYRE!!!! I know Supergiant is still a relatively small studio that never had the resources for it but it would be lovely to get a Pyre remaster with full multi-player functionality.
moonsheen.bsky.social
While I still think Transistor is probably Supergiant's true masterpiece, Pyre will always my favorite because I loved that cast so damn much.

If anyone thinks I am not STILL all about Volfred and Oralech you underestimate me in all ways.

Make it SUPER feminist and gay, as a treat. For him.

Play Pyre yes it's fantasy basketball in purgatory but also it has embittered revolutionary exes who are hashing out their issues and also one of them is a tree.
moonsheen.bsky.social
I know everyone is yelling about Hades 2 but I'm still here yelling about Pyre because someone did an animatic of my favorite old man yaoi couple from that game: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY2D...

Actually, I stand correct, given that these badgers live in Texas it'd be a bit more "ULALYEEHAW" but I digress.

If I did ever try to write pastoral animal fantasy there'd be a lot less arbitrary predatory racism and a lot more weird animals being weird. One day, I shall play a loopy possum druid in a tabletop. One day.
