ON THIS DAY... 10 years ago, The stage play The Monsters Are Coming! premièred at Wembley Arena. It was written by Steven Moffat, Will Brenton & Gareth Roberts and featured Matt Smith as The Doctor and Nigel Planer as Vorgenson. This story is a pseudo-sequel to Carnival of Monsters.

ON THIS DAY... 16 years ago, The Dead Shoes, the second story in the Hornets' Nest arc by Paul Magrs, a series of five audio dramas featuring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor alongside Richard Franklin as Mike Yates, was first released by AudioGO.
