and different name, maybe even changing a few words of the ad read, but it's all the same crap. Weight loss, making money with some new BS, healthcare, fake robot puppies, you name it.

It genuinely feels like YouTube is enabling scammers, and then gets mad at us when we don't want to see the scams.

How many people need to get scammed, hurt, or even killed by these ridiculous, clearly fake advertisements before YouTube steps up and takes action? Because this isn't just one outlier, I see scam ads CONSTANTLY on the platform, even after reporting them. New ones crop up with a different company

I get it, money is green, but after a certain point, I can't help but feel that if you sell ad space to someone you know or suspect to be a scammer or bad actor, you're complicit in any harm that comes from those ads. And when YouTube takes the money and runs the ads, they should be held responsible

And, unfortunately, people are going to believe the results their given.

And it will hurt people, mark my words. People will suffer because YouTube and other companies do not vet the ads they sell. That's why the "ice hack" ad is still roaming around YouTube Shorts every few months.

At least on the store page. Guess someone told them Glucomax is the name of a medication already.

Anyway, the whole thing reads like a scam. But not everyone is going to notice the things I noticed. Some people are going to jump at the chance to get a new sensor that doesn't hurt every day.

There is American Diabetes Association, but not a "Federation".

"Bayera Healthcare" spent five years developing this. Only, that doesn't exist either, but it sure does sound like "Bayer" which is a real company that makes medications and the like.

Oh, and it's called "Ringminds" and not Glucomax!

Now, I'm not discounting that someone created a way to measure blood glucose without needing a blood sample. That could happen. But I'm betting this ain't it. They also, on their website, emblazon the "American Diabetes Federation". That organization, as best as I can tell, DOES NOT EXIST.

The ad itself is AI voice over poorly dubbed footage of people using Pulse Oximeters, making ALL KINDS of claims about the "Glucomax". They use the FDA symbol as though it were FDA approved. The device on their website, which was apparently registered four days ago, looks entirely different.

And, for a lot of people using them, it can be a pain in the ass to prick themselves on a needle to draw blood for the glucose meter. Finding something that doesn't need needles or strips would be a really great thing.

This ain't it. Or if it is, it's still only showing Pulse Oximeters in the ads.

For those that might not be aware, blood glucose meters measure glucose levels for diabetics. Pulse oximeters just give you your pulse and roughly what percentage of your blood has oxygen in it. Very different measurements for very different things. Blood Glucose Meters need a blood sample to work.
