But it could also vary - it's a problem of whether to filter and double-check your thought. It could also be an art to try to stay objective and prevent biases when your expression is limited. This is not limited to social media, but also real life: how to hold on to the truth when under pressure.

While I consider myself to be somehow old-fashioned on Internet usage, it indeed has revealed to me one of the reason why the Internet is becoming more opinionated over time, and fosters prejudice and toxicity, because when you have to shorten your expression, usually all left is bad sentimentality.

I used to write for blogs and novellas, and prefer long words. It's not until recently I resumed sometimes browsing social media and found myself preferring shorthands, losing nuance and complexity due to the char limit, because you can no longer use many clauses and deteminatives to be objective.

It is about narrative biases - decide to tell smth or ignore it in a story. I think if a bias is w/o a direct consequence on people or things, it might be considered "morally neutral". It is only hard to be neutral because there are too many conflicts in the world, and usually we have to take sides

Yeah, here the fact is that even omniscience ≠ unbiased. The bias can be morally neutral, though, it can be unprejudiced, but if it takes any action, it inevitably creates bias. Prejudice is only one form of *unfair* bias. In literature, characters can be prejudiced, but the author should try not be

I guess it's some authors hiding some basic facts that *should* be known. The important thing is what *should* be known from an in-universe POV, like a character forgot their class for no reason, but in the end we found it's only because they accidentally throw the timetable into the trashbin

I have this problem too. It makes me easy to write >1k words within an hour, but the story hardly gets moving, because most part of the text is purely describing the environment or details. If not attended, it makes my story stretch and drag while creating an illusion that I "have written a lot"
