The three businesses located at 2558 Old 1st Street will be closing this Thursday July 31st. The building was sold and the leases were ended. No word yet on if these businesses will relocate. The 3 businesses are: Tri-Valley Cobbler J&R Sports Supply Pierson's Livermore Auto Stereo

The Hangar SFO soft launches this week in the addition to the San Francisco Premium Outlets (4851 Livermore Outlets Drive). No menu online yet, so let us know what you find. Aama's Kitchen of Hayward is opening its second location in Livermore. It will take over the location of China Villa (4022 East Avenue) next to Terra Mia. They have a large menu of Nepali and Indian cuisine. Check out their website and menu. Or find them on Facebook or Instagram.

Mooyah Burgers, a fast growing chain, is opening it's 4th Bay Area location at the other end of the plaza anchored by Target. It will go in to the old location of Peking Restaurant (4510 Las Positas Rd.) right besides FedExOffice. Check out the menu here, and info on our store's location here.

Fremont's own Tony Gemignani, is opening the 29th location of his Slice House on First Street at the old location of Enjoy Life More (1983 First Street, just down the street from The Donut Wheel). If you're not familiar you can learn more about Tony here. He's got a great restaurant called Tony's Pizza Napoletana in North Beach and locations of Slice House are everywhere from SFO, to the Giants Ballpark, to Walnut Creek, and as far as Salt Lake City and Tennessee. After a few months of remodeling The Last Word has reopened under a new identity, The Syndicate Bar. Vibe looks pretty cool. Check them out on Instagram and Facebook or better yet, in real life at 2470 1st Street, Suite 100. Just to the right of the Bankhead Theater.

The final meals at the 40 year old original location of Emil Villa's Hick'ry Pit (3064 Pacific Ave) will be served for lunch tomorrow (Feb 25th, 2025) as they move their location to the site of the old Rockhouse (1840 Portola Ave).

Pedego Electric Bikes which had been located downtown at 1911 Second Street has announced their new location, Concannon Vineyards. Looks like a good setup for them to rent electric bikes for an afternoon of wine tasting. And owners of their bikes will still be able to receive service on their bikes (it looks like they'd like you to schedule an appointment for service though). Glad to see them returning quickly.

It looks like those of us on a Target run will have another new place to grab a snack and some caffeine at Bober Tea & Mochi Dough. The double chain has 32 locations, almost half of which are in The Bay Area.
