I don't use this site much because people don't fight enough on it, but I check in every now and then
I dunno, I would say AC6 in many respects has more in common with most Souls-type games than it does with many AC games. That said, I'm an OG AC enjoyer, and it couldn't play more differently from those

As long as you don't do side content aside from the normal good stuff (Manderville, mostly) you'll be through pretty quick. You save side content for side classes anyway so you can always go back. Friends of mine got through no problem, and then surpassed me lmfao

It's good, legitimately, and a lot of the uninteresting content has been cut out but you do have to commit to getting through ARR because it's essential to set up the plot. For reference, I started in 2016, quit, restarted in 2021 and finally got through in 2022. And I get it now. It is good

It's annoying and I don't want to see it. And it's my entire discover feed of random fucking people

They've used a lot of surprising things for that. My training ones didn't work though. But I was also only in there for 14 or so hours, maybe it needs more time

That said for as increasingly computerized as cars are, manufacturers have abysmal security processes in general and seem to not take it seriously. Inherent flaws that wouldn't fly in computing are simply the norm with them, like there is little thought to actual security

Keys and keyways wear out and become increasingly vulnerable with age, look at a ton of 90s cars for that. Also manufacturers are very guilty of using very few keys for their cars, so you can just buy them online eventually. At least push to start allows unique IDs for all vehicles

Mechanical keys are still pretty debatable, mostly because they are a vulnerability that is largely resolved with a push to start system. The risk of say, successfully picking up your key's ID to start the car is real but harder than a simple hotwiring. This caveat only works without an app/similar
