In this suburban community in Utrecht almost all grocery stores are located right on Tram/LRT stops. Imagine the convenience of stepping into a store to grab groceries on your walk home from the transit stop.

What does Item MM35.15 mean? Toronto's City Council is implementing active transit signal priority for light rail transit and streetcar systems! However, we need to ensure that signal priority is done in conjunction with an increase in streetcar speeds and reliability! Read more in our bio.

Here is our letter in support for the motion in tomorrows council meeting to speed up LRTs and streetcars. We also urge that a review of Finch West LRT operating practices and the TTC streetcar's outdated track switch system be included in this motion.

Massive development is planned for the Downsview Airport lands, unfortunately current plans to extend the Sheppard Subway stop at Sheppard West station. It would be a huge mistake not to extend the line an extra stop or two to serve this development from day one. Image via @futuremodelTO

Discourse around transit signal priority in Toronto needs to improve. Here's councillor Josh Matlow advocating for funding for TSP on Line 5 and 6 in the upcoming budget. But Eglinton and Finch already have TSP installed!

The Finch West LRT is now open! 🥳

While this is great news for Toronto, the LRT has slow average speeds and has only conditional transit signal priority (activating when the train is late).

MTSO continues to support implementing full TSP on Lines 5 & 6 to speed up travel times for riders.

The Eglinton Crosstown LRT has officially reached substantial completion. And according to Premier Ford the line could be open in just a few weeks for the start of 2026. Service will run roughly every 5 minutes from 6am-11pm on opening day. With more service planned in the future

Good News! Line 2 is completely free of slowzones as of today, and Line 1 has four slowzones which are planned to be removed by the end of the month. Hopefully the system can be slowzone free by the end of the year.

The last takeaway is about the Milton line. Currently the Milton and Richmond Hill lines are the only lines without Two Way All Day service, however in this map the Richmond Hill line is classified under peak only service, and the Milton line is included with the other 7 lines. 4/4

Another takeaway is that only options 1&2 from the Sheppard Subway consultations in 2024 appear on this map. The third option which was an eastern extension all the way to Morningside does not appear on this map. 3/4

The first takeaway is for the Hurontario LRT. The proposed city centre loop shows 3 potential options which includes the original loop, but also an extension to the south and west. 2/4
