That is what I think led to him forming his first friendship, which I think is a bigger part of his rivalry than his sexual attraction to Alastor.

That's hard not to agree with. Maybe ESB is above it on my list but certainly not anything else.
And frankly anything from the original trilogy was such a huge part of my childhood that I'm not even going to pretend I could objectively rate them.

My main complaint is the Finn side plot and that it was sandwiched between two JJ films.

The Last Jedi had flaws, even if I think the vast majority of the hate was performative.

Even if the numbers were accurate you'd still need to separate out the January 6th pardons since that was a singular event that would otherwise pump up the numbers.

Also with the exception of the Charlie "I'm bi" line, has HH actually shoved the character's sexualities in our faces?
I know some characters are same-sex attracted or whatever because I see them with their partners. And there's a subtle Alastor ace reference.
