i’ll do that too 😆 i read an entire book like two months ago that i was so angry at but my attention was kept enough till the end and then the killer was revealed and it was fucking stupid and i got even more mad i just wasted 12 hrs of my life on the audiobook

he was so funny it made me giggle so much 😆

yeah same, i’ll need to know who did it and then i get to the end and just end up angry and how stupid it was in the end, and yet i will never learn

read a lot of mystery thrillers so i’m used to the plot not really picking up
until a third of the way through while also having and insufferable narrator, so i know how long i have to stay

i will say, the amount of books i’ve finished that i wished i DNF’d is high

i’ll get like a third of the way in and if there’s no movement in the story and i can’t stand the characters and the plot doesn’t compel me enough to stay, i’m leaving

i can deal with insufferable MC’s if it’s part of the story but i need something to keep me there

the curse of having my peak creative hours between 11pm-1am

and that’s after i finally watch stranger things (i’m scared of the “deaths” upcoming so i’m currently pretending it doesn’t exist) (i still have not watched vol 1 🫣)

i’m currently stuck on the pitt coming back the same day as 9-1-1, high potential coming back a few days before that (i think), and then somewhere after that school spirits comes back
