So sad to hear about the death of #PatriciaRoutledge.

At 95 she wrote this and it's always stayed with me.

"When I was younger, I often worried I wasn’t good enough—that I'd never be cast again, that I'd disappoint my mother. But these days begin in peace and end in gratitude."

The UK Govt’s proposal to extend the Warm Home Discount until 2030/31 will provide vital reassurance to the many older people we support who are forced to sleep in coats because of the cold.

But this support does not go far enough.
