I have a LONG way to go, but have started learning ASL. (I'm still getting used to using the eyebrows in conversation). Thank you 💌

I haven't tried it yet (Google ASL translating), but I've heard of it. For background, I have a cousin who is deaf, and to ONLY my misfortune, had not met him until recently. I hadn't made enough of an effort on my part before. (1/2)

I am wondering as a hearing person who doesn't know ASL just yet... I've heard of the Google ASL translator app... but as a deaf person, what is your preferred method of communicating with a hearing person who doesn't know ASL? Is there anything I can do to make it easier for you?
