Another D&D session in the books! The fog machine was a big hit.
Bought a reptile fogger to make fog on the game board for D&D. I have to fab some board edging to help keep the fog on the board longer and also a piping system to help with the fog dispersion, but you get the idea. :)

D&D 2024 Question: How do you handle firing range attacks through occupied squares? Is there chance to hit random target or just give the target cover bonus and wave away the miss?

It's so great when all the machinations in your D&D campaign start coming together and the players are all "WOW!!! I thought that was just a stupid shopping episode!!"

The Stonefists of Durroden's Gate limp back to their Brewery Stronghold after fleeing from the House of Longreach. The Lichlord has won this round. The Ghoul King made a surprise appearance along with a horde of ghoul minions, springing their trap upon many of the Stonefist dwarves.

Did lots of 3d printing and painting this week. I got brave and experimented with different settings on the Kobra 2.
Ended up with lots of prints but vicious layer lines.
They still look good on the table away from direct scrutiny though.
Sometime the wait is worth the wait.
Lesson learned.

How many folks use Bastions in their D&D game?
My players say they are interested, but haven't committed to building anything yet. They loved the concept and idea, but seem to be avoiding the "doing" part.
Just curious how you reeled your players in to start a "Domain/Bastion level" play?

I love Dark Fantasy/Grim Dark TTRPs. Grim Hollow is the current reigning champion, but have you also checked out Midnight and Nightfall?

So IMC, we are basically playing Against the Cult of the Reptile God. I messed up as a DM and it ended up driving the party to Explicita Defilus' lair ahead of time. They essentially skipped 75% of the Town Encounters.
My question is what would the town look like after they come back?

My new DM Chair showed up today. It's pretty comfy for an office chair and goes up pretty high. (My table is counter height). It's ok quality but feels a little plasticy/cheap. Seat cushion is nice and like the height.

My new DM Chair showed up today. It's pretty comfy for an office chair and goes up pretty high. (My table is counter height). It's ok quality but feels a little plasticy/cheap. Seat cushion is nice and like the height.
