By plane i just mean another grid with a bigger size. Yeah, non-square neighborhoods, so that a house pixel turns into a shape that can contain a house and a yard.

What if instead of each point of the CA being a pixel, each point was a voronoi shape on a different plane?

You can turn off "smart" features in Gmail's general settings. Otherwise it is probably getting trained on cat fanart (and other personal data).

CA are beautiful. Are the squares just binary? I wonder if you allow more bits per square (e.g., representing various minerals, hardness), could that be even more interesting?

Many games focus on Safety (combat), Reputation, Achievement, and Personal growth (for the player). But I would like to see more that borrow from The Sims + survival games.

A home. Preferably one that is restful.

You need to be able to cast it more than once, or you could get stuck. Also, if you can cast it over and over, and there is at least 1 unlocked door, then all locked doors can be bypassed.

Sprinkle some AI on that so you can claim your millions in funding and/or free nVidia chips.

Also because they're firing their employees for trying to unionize. Bad vibes, terrible PR...

Might be possible to lock segments of exo-skeleton legs together, so you could just stand like a table.

It is limited to 32 slots -- which is used by all your tools/weapons (~10 slots), wearables (~6 slots), food (3-4 slots), and materials collected (whatever is left). A weapon/tool usually only gets worn-out if you're on a longer expedition.

(I think originally they were going to add in a material cost for repairs, but that's not fun so they left it out.) Repair is just one of many mechanics that force you to return to your base: repair, rest (for a buff), drop off materials/items into storage (because inventory is small), and get food.

You need a workbench (different tiers for better tiered weapons), and you just click the "repair" button as many times as you have items that need repairing. It makes a satisfying clunk noise each time.

Reminds me of how I plan for a Valheim expedition: take two of an item if I plan to be away from my base for a while. When I return, everything is repaired back to full.

Problem js humans might be hard-wired to prefer the fiction. (Problem for truthful journalism; good for storytellers!)
