He is not perfect by any means, but he is a hell of a defensive coach. Also, he turned the team around by setting a culture & an identity based on D. He took the laughing stock of the league to the 2nd place of the Western Conference.

Sounds like they prefer the continuity route right now.
Sounds like their mantra of “sometimes you & sometimes me” is good with Ime. Obviously the advantage here is that teams have to prepare for an entire squad & the disadvantage is that there is no hierarchy & you NEED 1 in crunch time.

Kinda depends on what they do with him though. It could be that they limit his role next year.
