that's not an auction, there's no raffle, it's simply 'whoever pays highest' and people get addicted and straight up feel like 'if i don't get it, i never will'

I don't think furries are wealthy myself, but I do think there is a really disturbing capitalistic nature overwhelming the fandom. between gatcha like eggs and adoptables to ych auctions and otherwise, there's a very real sense of fomo BUY NOW OR YOU WON'T GET ANYTHING.
