Got knocked on my ass hard by the flu this week. I WFH but booked off, have barely been able to get out of bed. Tomorrow I'm going to try to rally and log in to conduct a couple of interviews. Fortunately it's internal hires so I feel I can just leave my camera off. Wish me luck.

This year I want to make more time for creativity/play - things that get set aside when life starts to feel hectic. I want to spend more time with my camera, writing and journaling, drawing, colouring, and painting. Maybe it’s time to finally indulge in that 120-set of coloured pencils.

Facing the new year with the usual introspection, but also a migraine and a lot of naps with my cats today. The mentality of "new year, new me" no longer serves me. I yearn for balance in life and work, warmth, and community. Also a cup of tea.
