Context is important here. This is the third post-Charlie Kirk poll I have seen where the generic Democrat leads the generic Republican in Congress. And Trump's approval holds steady just above rock bottom.

I usually resist the thought that all police officers are violent sickos. I think people become cops for lots of reasons.

But what motivates someone to join ICE, given that statistics show immigrants rarely commit violent crimes?

It can only be hate of the Other or violent fantasies.

Never said I disagreed with that view of Zionists. At this point, they're almost as evil as the Taliban IMHO.

But we don't win by being as dumb and oversimple as the Trumpists. We need to be accurate to know how to fight.

Hard agree. I have a unit in one of my courses that shows how colonial history continues to inform media technology today, especially when it comes to the Internet. And media materiality, of course.

As someone who lived in Europe at that time, I very sincerely thank you for your service. I had friends at the time who came home very, very scarred from that conflict. Thank you. 🙏

The precision is really based on fear. I've fought actual neo-Nazis both discursively and bodily in demonstrations when I was still living in Europe.

I'm concerned that if we forget what it specifically is, we'll also forget how dangerous it is.

The president of a notable Danish biker gang was once interviewed on TV. Other prominent members of the gang were there, of which one was a Black man.

Still, the gang wore symbols like the Confederate flag and swastikas to "rile up the normies".

There's a reason that guy's ICE and not a professor.
