The Albanese government will be remembered as the "do nothing, do little or do badly" government. Albanese may be the astute politician who has assisted the demise of his main opposition and the hobbling of alternatives but has never led the Australian people.

AUKUS is worst decision from our political duopoly
Exorbitant, unexplained & unjustified
Commits Australia to
1.Australian bases for UK & USA nuclear submarines
2.Being target in USA confrontation with China
3.Being a repository for high level nuclear waste requiring security/storage >100,000 yrs

The only thing AUKUS will sink is our political duopoly.

As a child, I was surprised that historical Empires could quickly collapse but on reflection, my parents saw the collapse of the British Empire, my generation saw the collapse of the Russian Empire and my children will see the demise of the American Empire. Sometimes it just takes one person.

Our political duopoly are alarmed that their votes are declining and their cosy arrangements will be threatened. Obvious when Albo’s first action first day after being first elected was to limit independent’s staff. It has never been about putting the people first.
