I know for sure I'm in your target audience. Yesterday I had to call a local bookstore to pre-order a mystery graphic novel coming up and I could only imagine the person on the other line as Velma from her opening scene in Scooby Doo on Zombie Island.

was messing around after loosening the strings to restring the banjo and I am pretty sure this is what their brains sound like.

Oh yea! I enjoyed it too. It does a great job developing the town over time based on the choices you and the other players make. Also I just like all the little pieces. I would consider it like the one-shot equivalent to campaign/legacy games since it's feasible to fit into one session.

Stuffed fables is also a similar game but lighter on the reading and more focused on game play

Artisans Of The Splendent Vale!!! It's a campaign board game driven by what is essentially a choose your own adventure book. The gameplay outside of that is very grid based ttrpg combat but using a dice pool. The writing and gameplay are impressively combined and it's very queer!

Cat lady is a very simple and quick set collection game I enjoy! The base game isn't solo but the Box Of Treats expansion adds a solo mode.

Oh wow thank you so much for the breakdown! Yea that sounds lovely. Nemesis is great but man is it A Lot, so that sounds very neat. I also tend to prefer playing co-op :3

ooo neat! I really enjoy playing Nemesis, which I've heard is a similar game. It'd be interesting to see how they compare, I'll have to try it sometime.

my friend started an entire board gaming club in college just to force people into playing the power rangers game with her. That's how we met :p
