Text: Hi-Larious is my homebrew dnd campaign! originally meant to be a oneshot, it’s now gotten bigger and spans a mini (planned to be around 10 sessions) campaign. Hi-Larious is the story of you, a clown (or adjacent) from your own world, being sent to the dreamy land of Hi-Larious when you have ‘lost your smile’. You hate your job? You got into a whole mess of trouble? Clowning aint the same anymore? You find yourself trapped in this world without any means of leaving until your smile returns. Either follow the rules of this world and try and earn your smile back the hard way, or try and escape the world and plead your case with its Ringerleader. Hi-Larious is a story I made to face my internalized need to stay positive at all costs. Sometimes the world just plain sucks and you just gotta let it hurt- and this story is all about! I’m also a huge lover of clowns and abstract, loud and colorful aesthetics! This story is made and played to be goofy and silly but also very raw when ya need it to.
