Assistant Coach Mike Sirant will take over in the interim as the Club explore options for a replacement.
It's a shame for Giants to lose him as we start to move into the business stage of the season.
In his 31 matches, he scored 8 and assisted 15, putting him tied 28th on top point scores in the EIHL this season (7th highest for the Giants).
