Those that do are now centrist-ish Democrats. Sincerity was the divider of who went and who stayed from the Republican party.

If the first black president had been Colin Powell and not Obama, we wouldn't have had the white nationalist, neo-confederate MAGA backlash we saw. Same applies here. The first woman president needs to be a Republican to both be electable and take the sting out for those types.

Timothy Dalton really deserved a full run. Unfortunate the business side of the franchise got in the way of the art. The Living Daylights is one of the best in the series, and I just re-watched License to Kill for the first time in forever, and it was far better than I remembered.
