Nashvillian. Interested in Nashville politics, roller derby, reading, drinking strong black tea all day long. Got a new job so the disclaimer: opinions are my own, not my employer's, obviously.
Rutherford County's Library of Things can be checked out. I cannot check out a damn thing from the Nashville LOT. To sign an MOU with the folks we should he suing is ridiculous.

it is often said: do not trust someone who blows up a library

Think of how often the library employees think about it. I was working there at the time. I think about how my exact parking spot COLLAPSED. I think what could have happened if it was 10 AM instead of 2 AM. Dead children everywhere. Why isn't this a bigger deal to everyone?

My HOA has told us to all paint our decks the same, only available at Home Depot, color. I'm looking for ways around this.

Using a dash is AI now? I guess I'm in trouble because dashes, parentheses, and copious footnotes have always been my ADHD way to fit in a greater portion of my multitudious thoughts.

I wrote to my councilperson and focused on the Downtown Partnership's apparent negligence in other areas (Library Garage). I got a reponse that was copied from the mayor's office claiming "misinformation."

That's assuming they come in at the very top of the range.

Maybe if enough of them move here I can afford to move back to California.

I think there is far more wrong with this effort than I'venamed above. MNPS isn't taking this seriously. The answers are predetermined and swayed by popular opinion and adult convenience rather than science. Disappointing but not surprising.

MNPS has claimed transport issues as the reason to ignore science on start times. But the "How does your child get to school?" question doesn't include "student drives themselves." Later HS start times lower teen accident rates. Important missing info due to poor survey construction.

Good forbid you go out of town and leave your car. Or end up in the hospital and leave your car.

In Boston we were ticketed for signs that were put up AFTER we parked the day before and were only not towed because we happened to walk out there as they were towing others. Coming to Nashville soon.

The doctor kept telling me my oldest would be "6 pounds at the most." She was 8lbs 10 oz. The doctor was shocked. I was 95 pounds when I got pregnant with her.

My son was large for gestational age and had a big head. I was size zero when I got pregnant. No one offered me anything. I would have taken recognition. The ped just sounded very concerned and I responded unbothered, "Have you seen his dad's head?"
