I was saying how it feels like uma musume being based on real race horses stunts the game's writing and today I read that the oguri cap/symboli rudolph yuri in the original trailer got axed because the horses' original owners hated it so much they threatened to rescind the rights to use the horses

like this kinda stuff (from a reddit post) is just SO stupid. it all feels so calculated, which I realize is a hilarious thing to say about an anime gacha game but I want my fictional moeblobs to be actually fictional and not just an elaborate ploy to get more people hooked on japanese horse racing
