She is indeed fluffy. Deceptively cuddly. Mute swans have a spur on their wing wrists for bashing and smashing. Swan maiden has an even bigger one that she uses to beat the everloving crap out of people.

Yup! Those are the anther and stigma. Respectively the male and female organs of the flower. The yellow ones are the anther with all the pollen and the white one with three nubs is the stigma. It's where pollinators would bump up against and pollinate the flower.

Indeed. This bulb had 6 total of these flowers. But they all only lasted about 2 days. Probably because the bulb is still young and didn't have enough time to store up enough energy for strong blooms. I just bought it this winter so I can't say for sure. It'll have tons of time and sun from now on!
