I had that problem with Game of Thrones. I couldn't watch the show until season 4 started because the characters in the show did not look like the characters in my mind.

I despise this type of voter. My BIL votes republican because his parents did. He also has a liberals freeloaders. Meanwhile, he has been on disability for years. Yes, he has a true medical condition. I really need to call him out for his hypocrisy.

Pete Buttigieg would be awesome, but if regular Americans can't elect 2 very qualified women, there's no way on earth that they would elect a gay man. It's just a shame. He would be a great president.

It is a very tired trope. Perhaps POC have had the odds stacked against them? It's America, there has been issues throughout our history against POC.
