I went to US for the first time a month ago, a trip planned before the mayhem of Trump and was in two minds about going. Stayed in New Orleans so had a great stay. On the first night a young waitress asked: Why on earth did you guys choose to come here, we are all trying to escape.Its heartbreaking

Denmark is not warning against it. They updated on the need to contact the american embassy/consulate if you are transgender with other genderdescription than female or male to know what to do as its not accepted on entry. Thats it. A lot of danes doesnt want to go though

I dont know. Going of to journalists, making angry videos and harmed patos only seems to give him Joy and more media coverage. Perhaps keeping a bit low and letting him piss of People instead of leaders is not the worst idea for now. See how the judicial system behaves and whether checks and

Agreed. The two cultures are just very different. Many americans see it is a human right to bear arms. Here only criminals, sportshooters hunters and lawinforcement do. Watching from an extremely safe country that is truly unnerving. There has been one schoolshooting ever in DK on the university of my city back in the 90's and that was bad enough. One shooting in a shopping mall not long ago by a very mentally ill guy. I find the US gunlaws insane.

And independants are. Except for bluesky and a few on X the outcry seems a bit meek, dissillusionized and shellbombed. Hope resistance will build up and get powerfull, both in US and abroad.

Well it wont surprise many that most danish people dislikes Trump a lot and find MAGA insane. Its become a populist new religious world order and we are sad and worried for the future of us all. For all the rest of you I for one feel bad. I also wonder where the huge response from democrats

Well I drank the mango moussolini beer when T got indicier the first time, didnt taste well but locals on Fanoe Island seem to like it. An american brewer working on Faboe brewery has been making them for years 😃.
