Have you ever considered a remedial class in geography?

If not, you probably should.

That district is a far piece from Appalachia. And the Appalachian part of Tennessee has been a Republican stronghold since the War Between the States.

Illinois already is one of the most gerrymandered states.

Are you asleep at the wheel?
December 3, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Jim Cooper spent *32* years in Congress. He retired rather than face a challenge.

And anyone who understands TN political history knows perfectly well that democrats gerrymandered both the 4th and the 7th the last time they were in control.
December 3, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Democrats shedding crocodile tears over gerrymandering is hilarious.

Don't pretend that they didn't gerrymander the 7th when they had control.
December 3, 2025 at 3:05 PM
As if democrats didn't gerrymander the state when they had the chance?
December 3, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Is it related to the flop from the other night?
November 28, 2025 at 9:55 PM
No I don't.

Even though I make hoecakes quite often.

It's not working on chrome.

Who was giving what in your imaginary negotiation? Where's the evidence?

Pennsylvania and New Hampshire were the first states to push for the 2A.
October 5, 2025 at 9:02 PM
Yeah, that's why all those states that had abolished slavery or were in the process of it pushed for and ratified it.
October 5, 2025 at 2:09 AM
The Constitution had been ratified by the necessary number of states almost a year before the 2A was written.
October 5, 2025 at 2:04 AM
There were more states in the North that wanted the Second Amendment than states in the South.
October 5, 2025 at 2:02 AM
You'll have to blame the senate instead of Madison.

That's where the 2nd Amendment that we know and love was finalized.

@quantum-man.bsky.social blocked me rather than debate his link.

Rolling my eyes at your stupidity...

That you would rather comment and block rather than learn reality is unsurprising.
September 30, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Do you not know enough history to spot the rather glaring errors in that article?

The intent of the 2nd Amendment was to prevent the establishment of a standing army.

Seven states in either the full convention, or the Anti-Federalist factions proposed Bills of Rights that included those found in the 2nd.

New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island used the full convention.

Pennsylvania and Maryland were the Anti-Federalist.

This page links to sites that have the State proposals from the ratification conventions for the future Bill of Rights:

The Debate Over a Bill of Rights
Antifederalists argued that in a state of nature people were entirely free. In society some rights were yielded for the common good. But, there were some rights so fundamental that to give them up wou...

As far as a single source that lays out all of the the 2A proposals, I'm not sure that one exists.

Stephen Halbrook provides a lot of the information here:

That's not what I said. I clearly stated that more Northern than Southern States pushed for the 2nd Amendment. Which is 100% undeniable fact.

Henry was a proponent of a second convention moreso than the 2nd Amendment.
September 29, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Where did you come up with that claim?

More Northern States pushed for the 2A than States in the South did.

Cornbread is the 2nd best bread, next to biscuits.

It would only be considered cake if heathens put sugar in it.
