It's been a week since I did any kind of #art, especially #watercolor. I watched a video on leaves and tried some out. My favorites are the ones with the veins, using the blunt end of the brush. Happy to be creating, however amateur.

I didn't have a lot of time or ideas for my #watercolor tonight so I did this. All the colors on my palette went down, in a row, and then I painted a little over-easy egg. If the point is "art every day" then I'm doing it. I need to watch more instructional videos, though.

Day two of doing little #watercolor things. Did a little sky, some hills, and a 'wee bothy' (inspired from our trip to #Scotland three years ago). It's not perfect, but it's art.

My #LastFourWatched for my #LetterboxdFriday. Bring Them Down was some of the best #cinema I've seen in a while. Also I apparently missed The Amazing Spiderman for this many years. It was OK.

It's been almost two years since our trip to Scotland. In a few months I'll be back in the British Isles to visit friends in Cornwall. I'm counting down the days till I'm back and eating a chippy tea.

I'm going to send this to my therapist and ask for a diagnosis

My part of NC rarely sees snow, but both cold fronts brought us a pleasant dusting. Here is the view from my home office on Tuesday night.

I know, I know, the news and the salute.

But also: our 7yo daughter just made WifeUnit a perfect cup of coffee and delivered it to her.

School and in-person work are cancelled because of the Great Blizzard of 2025.

We have to take the good as it comes.

I am on RedBook/Xiaohongshu and kept seeing people make steam eggs, so I decided to try it out. They're delicious! I am having fun learning more about China.
