I think aspirational politics is ESSENTIAL but if you can't politik without recognising where you're playing, you lose everything. I care about values - more than anything - but to me that means keeping this current lot OUT. But no, for some, that's less important than appearing aspirational...

I just got that. And yes, a good point, maybe they are starting to collect it for everyone. Or maybe if they collect it for all and you go to Aus, they can then enforce appropriately etc

Yeah nah just came here for the comments and they didn't disappoint in terms of why the left could lose. Something expected isn't disappointing, it's sad.

It's insidious - they got to me too. Only now in retrospect and a lot of fact checking did I see what is happening (also seeing how they cover this lot)

I think if you look at how National is performing and how the media cover it, your statement may have been influenced by that unfair coverage Foxy

Labour suffered heavy misinformation during and post Covid. They've done well to regain public trust.
