@benmandelker.bsky.social I spent some time in Denmark several years ago snd loved Aquavit, smoked eel and other dishes we had at a family Christmas lunch. But I have to tell you that pickled herring is the only food I have ever, in all of my 69 years, that made me cry- it was SO FUCKING GROSS!!!!!
