Stynylrez is good, as others have said. It's not super available in the UK, but I found out this week that it's actually sold here as "Ultimate Primer" by Ultimate Modelling Products - just a rebadge.
I know people that swear by Vallejo primer, but mine always clogs like yours.

I've been loving how swingy and changeable my games of Trench Crusade can be. Giant bastard swollen with the blood of a cloned Jesus? Oops, he caught a stray pistol round in the eye and now he's dead.

These look perfect for Trench Crusade - after a game or two on the initial Trench Zone layouts, a little more verticality and open buildings would fit perfectly!

Are any/all of these getting Weird War variants?
