Just sat outside for like an hour. It's 1am. The sleepy sounds of the city could cure the deepest wounds in my heart. I don't think there's any hope for me ever going back to live in the suburbs. If I can't step outside at 1am and feel like I'm part of one large organism I'll go nuts lol.

so like, hot take: I think that the slop epidemic is everything people say, but people don't talk much about the switch from watchtime to engagement metrics as a core contributor to why we're here, especially early on in the proto-slop era.

hot take because I see a lot of these "Anita Sarkeesian was really mild" posts lately, because I agree! Anita's takes were super mild and pretty moderate in retrospect, but also even when she's making a pretty lukewarm statement she just does not have the writing or the charisma to sell it.

I miss hyper-detailed fur as a super common aspect of furry art. I love minimalist fur styles too, but when I look at a fuckable wolfman I want it to look like it was shot with a harsh flash disposable pocket cam from 2001 so I can feel the texture through the screen in exquisite detail

Took a very special puppy treat and ended up getting so high i could barely function. I was told to write "I'm a stupid diaper puppy" repeatedly, and couldn't manage more than a few pages.
