Uuuuh, I wasn't aware of that, thought they all died out in the 00s?

I do want to start donating blood, the issue is that I'm just too scared of needles. Last time it took about an hour before I finally got my vaccination. Respect to the people that do donate

What does that mean? Should the Canadians start taking it seriously only when the army starts moving it? We're already at that bridge...

It's so incredibly incomprehensible to me that everybody is just kind of running along with the idea. Not even just the US but everywhere. I've seen Czechs, Poles, Slovaks and Germans react to it only by saying "I wouldn't mind being invaded by a *neighboring nation*"

What the actual fuck is this

The last drill I experienced was a fire drill 7 years ago. They're supposed to be done every year

Somehow, it feels the same here in Europe.
I've already experienced both "sorry can't chat rn, SWAT equivalent is in our school, someone brought a gun" and "Oh wow, a school shooting, lucky it's not us". It feels extremely stupid especially because there are no drills

"Death, Texas and CENTCOM supremacy"is what I've read at first

Right, batteries definitely aren't expensive or full of rare metals. Or economically unviable

Feels like this exact reaction and quote could be used for so many other countries as well
December 18, 2024 at 9:15 PM
That's probably the most terrifying option and I hate it

I'm still trying to figure out what the plan is. They've been doing the same thing for decades now. Will they just stick their head into the sand when these people start enacting their revenge. Will Russia even be able to have a foreign policy?

Respect the haters, I guess?

I meant "oh wow, maybe not every nuclear accident is a Chernobyl level event" instead of "Oh, basically nothing happens, let's half ass this operation"
November 21, 2024 at 2:17 PM
Multiple reasons. Some of them are cost, production ability, serviceability, interoperability with other countries, capability, domestic industry and more.
November 21, 2024 at 11:53 AM
I feel that there's another positive. I imagine a lot of people look at the incident and go "Oh wow, you have to fuck up *this* hard to have a nuclear accident" making them more comfortable with nuclear

There's been a lot of this lately
November 21, 2024 at 11:24 AM
I need to start reading that
