Noni was clearly a popular figure within the team, so the bad apple claim never made sense. Enzo screaming at him after a clearance is the same performative nonsense he does against Mount. He knows his actual input in those big games is garbage so he acts up for the fans to win them over.

And they've made it abundantly clear that they're not going to sign him. A recall is the most sensible thing to do which is exactly why it won't happen.
