Days 7 & 8
Day 7: I was running on fumes trying to draw anything and I didn't feel like studying so I just drew whatever came to mind Which ended up being the Avatar for the main villain of Home and The Worlds Within, I have a concept for this abstracted malicious force in the story, inhuman and detached from its physical form. But like always my skills aren't good enough for my imagination just yet. Day 8: Forgetting Inspired by Solar Sand's "Doomed to Obscurity" video, it made me think about how I'll be forgotten just like the billions of people before me. Decided to play around with erasers carving out the full picture. Text in the image reads "I would like to be Remembered" with the word remembered faded out And "Even the Heart loses to time" with the word heart faded out. I'm unknown now, and will be for probably my entire life. An artist with an audience of 1, which has its own merit in the "don't give up" kinda way but it does feel discouraging in our society of attention and interest. Small artist woes and whatnot.

Days 5 & 6
Day 5: TV & Tom I drew a stylized CRT TV, it was pretty fun And then I drew Tom, the final main character of Home and The Worlds Within, he's supposed to be a man with a CRT TV for a head, drawing his expressions is a bit difficult cuz I'm not satisfied with them, mostly due to my still developing artistic skill. I'll get it eventually. Day 6: An Earring I have and Nym staring at a skull. I was running out of motivation but I just drew whatever I could. I bought a new mechanical pencil set to draw with, they're great! Unlike my own artistic skill.

Day 4: (technically it's 1am as I'm drawing this... Honey you can't get mad at me cuz it's art and therefore it is WORTH IT!!) [my amazing, loving and caring girlfriend wants me to have a healthy sleep cycle, I do too but my awful job makes me work late so now I'm a night owl for the first time in my life.] Anyways this is Nym, the protagonist of Home and The Worlds Within. Even though I have his design down in canon I still experiment with the little design on his cape. It's a bit of a mix of "the rule of cool" and some actual character details but I'm still unsure.

My first time ever drawing a human skull. Anatomy is brutal 💀 Also just in case you can't read my horrendous handwriting (Day 1 of practice Skull emoji 💀 (anatomy practice)) Daima is so much fun I didn't feel like drawing the chair and desk. So I didn't. The reference shot of King Gomah, look at this little dork I love how expressive he is!

I'll post the text here just in case it's unreadable (if so I'm terribly sorry, I don't post much 😭) and for any visually impaired friends. *Tick* … *Tock* … *Tick* … *Tock* A doomsday clock counts down the end of The World. *Tick* … *Tock* … *Tick* … *Tock* One hundred seconds pass, the clock strikes midnight. The World is remade, flourishing from the carcass buried in ash. Somehow even stranger than before. Here sits Nym at the center of it all, empty but full of wants, full of needs. The pull of human connection makes him take his first step into a world that's infinitely larger than he can comprehend. A library of thoughts and feelings crushed down to single sentences. “Friend… Home. Want to go, Home.” An all knowing golden light follows those who try to pry The World open with curious eyes. Anomalies will not be tolerated. Worlds made of empty heads are the canvas of the journey, one that Nym must embark on in order to escape The Light.
